Wow, those are some really great photos! I’ve only been to Quebec once, but I really want to come back. Well done, and you’ve definitely stirred some good memories up. Keep it up!
Max, thanks. Yes, Quebec — like so many places in Canada — is quite scenic.
Thanks again Brett. I’ll put up some Quebec City photos taken in May.
Fantastic photos! I’ve only been to Quebec City once in the fall. Will have to pull out my photos and compare some of our images to remind me of my visit.
Thanks. Winnipeg and the surrounding area are still on my to do list.
For a European these images are both familiar and foreign. Great images!
Yes, makes sense. Thanks for the interesting comment.
A tour guide told me that the church of Saint Martin in the fields is an exact replica of the London structure, built for the sake of the home-sick British soldiers stationed in QC.
Thanks for sharing that, which is a very interesting detail.
Nice shots! I remember some of those views from my trip there. It’s definitely one of Canada’s most picturesque cities.
Maura, thanks. I love your blog and look forward to learning more from your travels and posts.
It’s so beautiful. I’ve never been there, but it reminds me of when I lived in Europe. Have you ever been to Europe? We should go there!
You’re spot on! Quebec City is said to be the city in North America that is most like Europe and that seems to be true based on my travels throughout both places.
I lived in the Netherlands for three years, and was fortunate to see a lot of Europe. I miss it. I’ve enjoyed looking at your photographs. You have a good eye. 🙂
Thanks! Terrific memories for me of a brief visit to the Netherlands and it would be a good place as a jumping off spot for a European adventure. Definitely need to go back.
I want to go back too! I made it to many places, but I never made it to Italy, Spain, Portugal, or Greece.
