Ah, I love this photo and wonderful accompanying quote, Brett! As one who takes a lot of cloud photos, I appreciate the way in which Tagore describes them as an addition to sunset time. Very poignant indeed. Cher xo
Such a great photo. As we were driving along the coast, I noticed a lot of chairs on the shore set up just like this. Do these belong to people in the houses nearby? Is it available for anyone to go and sit on? I wasn’t sure.
Some areas along this coast are park areas with casual chairs set out for the occasional passerby. However, my sense is that people along the shore are a pretty friendly lot and I’ve struck up many a conversation with a then affable stranger and have enjoyed whiling away a little time with them.
great quote and pic combo !
Thanks, Chris!
So peaceful. Love it!!
🙂
What a photo!

Yes, love the quote.
Amazing shot!
Thanks! It was a wonderful evening. 🙂
Nice picture! I love Nova Scotia.
It’s a gorgeous place! 🙂
As long as that bright yellow colour doesn’t attract mosquitoes and no see’ums, it would be the perfect evening. 😉
I know! Sigh . . . we can’t have everything. 🙂
Inviting picture and words – would love to be sitting there right now!

While I loved the photograph, I was most taken with the Tagore quote, which continues to resonate.
Tagore was very insightful. 🙂
I’ve been a whole lot of places, but there aren’t a lot of sunsets better than what we have at home!
So true! 🙂
Beautiful! I thought it was a painting.
🙂
what an amazing palette in the sky. gorgeous
That’s a wonderful way to describe the sky! 🙂
The quote is quite right. A few clouds make for the best sunsets and sunrises.
So true! 🙂
