Atlantic Canada’s many docks in all shapes and sizes connect its people to the sea for work and recreation. There’s also lots of stuff to see while sitting for a spell alongside these bustling docks, a small sense of which can be gleaned in these photos from several relaxing trips to Nova Scotia.

thanks for the visual reminder of childhood summers – I can smell the salt air – so different from my high mountain desert life now.

Living on the west coast of Canada, it is always great to see photos of the other coast. Must visit one day.
Darlene, both coasts are wonderful and are graced with beautiful scenery. I’ve spent more time on the East Coast so my site tilts that way a little, but I have some West Coast pics and posts up my sleeve.
