I love the whimsical birdhouse! It would be just the thing outside my window to cheer me on a dreary winter day. I’ve never thought of curiosity, wonder, or spontaneous delight as risks–but now that I think about, I could see that if don’t believe in yourself, these experiences could hurt. Trust a poet to bring this insight!
Love your blog! We are planning our next trip across Canada (BC to NFLD) in the spring and hope to see the objects of your pictures in person. It will be like a scavenger hunt eh? But it will get us off the beaten path…which is our goal. Can’t wait to see your next posts.
Lovely choice !
Thanks, Chris!

Liz, definitely! Cummings had some good insights! 🙂
This photo stirs my childhood wonderment. ❤

I hope that face doesn’t scare the birds.

Thanks, Hedy! You, as well. 🙂
Looks like “Old Man Winter” may be spittin’ out sparrows in a few months.

It’s kind of winter here in New Brunswick…much more to come eh?
Definitely more to come! 🙂
Winter has certainly arrived in Southern California. I had to turn on the windshield wipers. Once.
LOL!
Yep, it’s true. Less than a 10th of an inch of rain, and it took me 2-1/2 hours to drive 40 miles.
Good one!
Terrific quote.

So True!
