Did you get any? We go pumpkin shopping at the same little white church every year so we can carve it (about a week before Halloween or the mold from humidity will turn it black and rotten inside). But we usually spend about $10-15 on a pumpkin as big as our head. You’ve got to be able to see it from the street!
A wonderful fall photograph! Initially I thought it must be an old image because of the low price being asked for the pumpkins, but apparently it’s current!
I passed by the local grocery store today and saw the price for pumpkins is $6.99 each – quite a difference!
Send one of those beauties to Texas! The stores here are selling for $5.99 each 😫
I know — such a deal! 🙂
Those are so beautiful. They are so expensive here. I would buy a Lot of those!! 🙂
Colorful autumn shades.
Those are some beauties. I’d love to have one just to make pumpkin pie or pumpkin soup. What a bargain at $1.50
Homemade pumpkin pie is great!
You’ve got my wheels turning now….
🙂
One of the pleasures of being a Canadian 😉 Great picture!!
🙂
In PEI 0.99 Cents. a real bargain
That’s a bargain!
Nothing says October than a display of pumpkins!
October does seem to bring to mind pumpkins. Maybe because of Halloween or the harvest time for these colorful round vegetables.
Wow! So cheap. I’m in Australia and I saw some in the supermarket recently selling for $3 per kg!
I think the price struck me as well. When you have so many you want to get rid of them as best you can.
We have thousands around here. I love the fields of pumpkins. I think ours are about that same price at the farm.
🙂
Such lovely pumpkins and an amazing deal, Brett! Cher xo

Thank you for posting this great picture, Brett.
This was taken just a couple of weeks ago.
Out in the countryside where they’re plentiful the farmers are happy to make a deal!
I’ll have one, just send it on over to the UK – thanks!
🙂
What a wonderful photo, so brightly colored and cheerful, Brett! I am really happy when I see roadside places with bargains.
Robin, thanks! 🙂
